Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Adore LLC ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the pingpong application ("App") available on iOS and web platforms.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information:

• Email address - Required for account creation and authentication
• User ID - Unique identifier generated by our authentication system
• Authentication method - Whether you signed in with Apple or Google

Content You Provide:

• Chat queries and messages - Questions you submit for AI processing
• AI responses - Responses generated by AI models, stored with your chats
• File attachments - Images, PDFs, documents, spreadsheets, audio, and video files you upload
• Voice recordings - When using voice input features (processed for transcription)

Usage Information:

• Query usage counts - Number of fast and pro queries used per billing cycle
• Subscription tier - Free, Plus, or Pro status
• Billing cycle dates - For monthly limit resets
• Purchase history - Processed through Apple's App Store

Device & Technical Information:

• App preferences (theme, notification settings, model ordering)
• Device identifiers for secure authentication
• Session tokens stored securely in iOS Keychain

2. Third-Party AI Services Disclosure

pingpong uses six third-party services to process your queries and media. When you submit a query, your content is sent to these services for AI processing:

Audio Transcription Processing

When you attach audio or video files to your queries, pingpong automatically processes them as follows:

• Pre-Processing Step: Audio/video files are sent to ElevenLabs Scribe v2 for transcription before being processed by AI models
• Speaker Diarization: The transcription service identifies and labels different speakers in the audio (up to 48 speakers)
• Transcript Injection: The resulting transcript with speaker labels and timestamps is added to your query context
• Universal AI Access: All AI models then receive the transcript, enabling them to analyze audio content they would otherwise not be able to process

3. How We Use Your Information

• Internal access: Authorized Adore LLC personnel may access user content (including queries and responses) for technical support, safety monitoring, abuse prevention, and service improvement
• To provide and improve the pingpong service

4. Data Storage and Retention

Cloud Storage (Supabase):

• Your chat history and account information are stored on Supabase servers
• Row-level security ensures only you can access your own data
• Data is encrypted in transit (TLS/HTTPS)

Local Storage (Your Device):

• Chat history and responses are cached locally using SwiftData for offline access
• File attachments are cached in a local folder (maximum 500MB)
• App preferences stored in UserDefaults
• Authentication tokens stored securely in iOS Keychain

Retention Period:

• Your data is retained indefinitely until you choose to delete it
• You can delete individual chats at any time
• Deleting your account permanently removes all associated data from our servers
• Local cache can be cleared manually in Settings

File Attachments: Files you upload are processed for AI analysis and cached locally. They are not permanently stored on our servers after processing.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only in these circumstances:

• AI Providers: Your queries, messages, and file attachments are sent to third-party AI services for processing (see Section 2 above)
• Payment Processing: Subscription payments are handled exclusively by Apple through the App Store - we never see your payment card details
• Email Service: If you enable email notifications, your email address is shared with our email provider (Resend) solely for sending notification emails
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect our legal rights

• Access Your Data: View all your chat history and account information within the app
• Delete Individual Chats: Swipe left on any conversation to delete it
• Delete Your Account: Go to Settings → Delete Account to permanently remove all your data
• Clear Local Cache: Clear locally stored files and cached data in Settings
• Notification Preferences: Control push notifications and email notifications in Settings
• Data Portability: Contact us to request a copy of your data

7. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

• Encrypted data transmission using HTTPS/TLS
• Secure token storage in iOS Keychain (encrypted by Apple)
• Row-level security on database (users can only access their own data)
• Secure authentication via Apple Sign-In and Google Sign-In (OAuth 2.0)
• No passwords stored - we use token-based authentication only

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, including the United States. This is necessary to provide our services through:

• Global AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, Perplexity)
• Audio transcription service (ElevenLabs)
• Cloud infrastructure (Supabase, Vercel)

By using pingpong, you consent to the transfer of your information to these countries, which may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.

10. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

• Know what personal information we collect about you
• Request deletion of your personal information
• Opt-out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information)
• Non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights

11. European Privacy Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have additional rights including:

• Right to access your personal data
• Right to rectification of inaccurate data
• Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten")

• Right to data portability
• Right to object to processing

12. Do Not Track

pingpong does not track users across third-party websites. We do not respond to Do Not Track browser signals because we do not engage in cross-site tracking.

13. Analytics and Tracking

We use minimal analytics:

• Vercel Analytics: Anonymous page view counts (no personal data)
• No third-party tracking SDKs (no Firebase Analytics, Mixpanel, etc.)
• No advertising tracking - We do not use IDFA or ATT
• No cross-app tracking

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by:

• Posting the new policy on this page with a new effective date
• Displaying a notice within the app

Continued use of pingpong after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the pingpong application ("App") provided by Adore LLC ("we", "us", "our"). By using pingpong, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using pingpong, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

pingpong is an AI-powered query refinement tool that:

• Sends your questions to five AI models (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, Perplexity)
• Automatically transcribes audio/video attachments using ElevenLabs Scribe with speaker identification
• Synthesizes and refines their responses
• Provides a consolidated answer with multiple AI perspectives

The service requires an account and offers both free and paid subscription tiers.

3. Account Registration

• You must create an account using Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In
• You must provide accurate information
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must be at least 13 years old to use pingpong
• One account per person - no shared or duplicate accounts

You agree NOT to use pingpong to:

• Generate illegal, harmful, abusive, or malicious content
• Harass, threaten, defame, or harm any person
• Generate content that exploits or harms minors
• Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
• Infringe on intellectual property rights (copyrights, trademarks, patents)
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits, security measures, or access controls
• Use automated systems, bots, or scripts to access the service without permission
• Generate spam, phishing content, or malware
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
• Generate content that violates the policies of our AI providers

Violation of this policy may result in immediate account termination.

7. Intellectual Property

Our Property: The pingpong app, including its design, code, features, branding, and content (excluding user-generated content and AI responses), is owned by Adore LLC and protected by intellectual property laws.

Your Content: You retain ownership of the content you submit. By using pingpong, you grant us a limited license to process your content through our services and AI providers as necessary to provide the service.

AI-Generated Content: Ownership and usage rights for AI-generated content are subject to the terms of each AI provider. Please review their terms for details.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

PINGPONG IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY
• FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
• NON-INFRINGEMENT
• ACCURACY OR RELIABILITY OF AI RESPONSES

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, ADORE LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES
• ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES
• ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE
• ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM RELIANCE ON AI-GENERATED CONTENT

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS.

10. Third-Party Services

pingpong integrates with third-party AI services (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, xAI, Perplexity) and audio transcription services (ElevenLabs). Your use of these services through pingpong is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the actions, content, policies, or availability of these third parties.

11. Account Termination

By Us: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

By You: You may delete your account at any time through the app Settings. Upon deletion, your data will be permanently removed from our servers.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Adore LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from:

• Your use of pingpong
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Content you submit through the service

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that you may bring claims in small claims court if eligible.

You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Adore LLC regarding pingpong.

17. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms with a new effective date. Continued use of pingpong after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase
• All payments are processed exclusively through Apple's App Store
• We do not have access to your payment card information
• Prices are in USD and may vary by region due to local taxes

Managing Your Subscription

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time:

1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone
2. Tap your name at the top (Apple ID)
3. Tap Subscriptions
4. Find and tap pingpong
5. Tap Cancel Subscription or change your plan

Query Usage

• Monthly subscription queries reset on your billing cycle date
• Unused monthly queries do NOT roll over to the next month
• Query pack purchases (bonus queries) never expire
• Bonus queries are used after your monthly allowance is exhausted

Refunds

Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple. To request a refund:

1. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com
2. Sign in with your Apple ID
3. Find your pingpong purchase
4. Select "Request a refund" and choose your reason

How to Cancel Your Subscription

1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone
2. Tap your name at the top (Apple ID)
3. Tap Subscriptions
4. Find and tap pingpong
5. Tap Cancel Subscription

Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period. You will not be charged again after cancellation.

How to Delete Your Account

1. Open the pingpong app
2. Go to Settings (gear icon in the top right)
3. Scroll down and tap Delete Account
4. Confirm deletion when prompted

How to Request a Refund

Refunds for App Store purchases are processed by Apple:

1. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com
2. Sign in with your Apple ID
3. Find your pingpong purchase in the list
4. Click "Report a Problem" next to the purchase
5. Select "Request a refund" and choose your reason
6. Submit your request

Apple typically processes refund requests within 48 hours.

How to Restore Purchases

If your subscription or query packs aren't appearing:

1. Open pingpong and go to Settings
2. Tap Restore Purchases
3. Wait for confirmation

Important: Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID that was used for the original purchase.

Frequently Asked Questions

What happens to my data if I downgrade my subscription?
Your chat history is preserved. You'll still have access to all previous conversations, but new queries will be limited to your new tier's allowance.

Do unused queries roll over to the next month?
Monthly subscription queries reset each billing cycle and do not roll over. However, query pack purchases (bonus queries) never expire.

Can I use pingpong offline?
You can view your existing chat history offline, but submitting new queries requires an internet connection since they must be processed by AI providers.

Why do I need to sign in with Apple or Google?
We use secure authentication providers (Apple Sign-In and Google Sign-In) to protect your account. We never store passwords - only secure tokens.

How do I clear my chat history?
You can delete individual chats by swiping left on them. To delete all chats, you would need to delete your account and create a new one.

Is my data safe?
Yes. We use encryption for data transmission, secure token storage, and row-level security on our database. See our Privacy Policy for details.

What AI models are used?
pingpong uses GPT-5.6 Sol (OpenAI), Claude Fable 5 (Anthropic), Gemini 3.5 Flash (Google), Grok 4.5 (xAI), and Sonar Reasoning Pro (Perplexity). Audio files are transcribed using ElevenLabs Scribe v2 with speaker diarization.
